There are various features and settings available to you when setting up your listing. To ensure you are familiar with the options available to you, we'll go through each one in detail.

Categories

This is an optional setting, but helpful if you would like to give your customers the ability to search for content using defined categories. If you would like to connect your listing to an existing category, select the category/categories you would like this NFT listing associated with. Curios allows you to select multiple categories, so you are not limited to just one. To add additional categories to your dropdown menu, click Categories in your sidebar menu, under Assets.

Start & End Date/Time

Listing Currency

Bid & Buy Settings

The next fields on your listing profile are linked to the bid/buy format toggle buttons in the upper left corner of your form. We'll review each of the sale formats available to you when creating your listing and walk you through which fields need to be completed for each.

Buy Now Only Format
If this is toggled ON, your customers' only option for purchase will be to purchase a token(s) at the listed price. For this option, you will only need to enter a Buy Now Price. You can disregard the field for a minimum bid amount.

Note: For multi-token listings this option must be selected. The other toggle buttons are only compatible with single token listings.

If you have a multi-token listing, in addition to entering an amount in the Buy Now Price field, you will also need to complete the fields defining maximum quantities you would like customers to be able to purchase. The Hide Quantity feature will default to OFF, however, if you like to keep customers from seeing the quantity, toggle the button to ON. This is optional, but helpful when using item scarcity to drive urgency and motivate customers to buy.

Bid Only Format
If this is toggled ON, your customers' only option will be to bid on the available token. This is a single-token listing only option, and is not compatitable with multi-token sales. To sell multiple tokens using the bid only option, you will need to create invidual bid listings for each token. If you select this option, you will only need to enter a Minimum Bid Amount. you can disregard the field for a buy now price.

With this option, once your listing end date/time is reached, the token sale will go to the customer with the highest bid and the listing will close.

Both Bid and Buy Now Format
If this is toggled ON, your customers will have the option to bid on a token or buy the token at the list price. This is a single-token listing only option, and is not compatitable with multi-token sales. To sell multiple tokens using the bid and buy option, you will need to create invidual listings for each token. If you select this option, make sure to fill in both a Minimum Bid Amount and a Buy Now Price.

With this option, your listing will close once either (1) someone purchases the token at list price, or (2) your listing end date/time is reached, at which point the token sale will go to the customer with the highest bid.

List as Featured Item
This option allows you highlight your listing by featuring it on your page. To activate, toggle to ON.

You can launch a preview of your listing prior to the buy/bid date by toggling this option to ON.

Once activated, there are various settings associated with previews which you can activate to further customize your customers' preview experience.

  • Allow Preview Purchase with Password: This option will allow you create a password, which you can then share with select recipients. These individuals will have exclusive access to purchase/bid on your listing before the general public gets access on your start date/time.

  • Allow Preview Purchase for Whitelisted Customers: This option will recognize whitelisted customers upon log-in, and automatically grant them access to purchase/bid on your listing before the general public gets access on your start date/time.

  • Hide Price During Preview: When you activate the preview feature, the default view includes the listing price. If you would like to omit the listing price from the preview, make sure to toggle this to ON.

  • Hide Timer/Countdown During Preview: When you activate the preview feature, the default view includes a countdown timer to your start date/time. If you would like to omit the this countdown from the preview, make sure to toggle this to ON. This is especially helpful if you schedule your listing in advance, and anticipate there may be a possibility for the date/time to change.

Publish Listing

List NFT - Save.png

The Publish this Listing Live Now button will be toggled to ON by default. This must be ON to publish a listing. Even if you are planning ahead and publishing for a future date, you will want this option toggled to ON. Keep in mind that by clicking the Save button, you are only saving the action to publish the listing. It will not actually be visible on your page until the start date/time you have entered (unless you select the preview option or a date/time occuring in the past.)

Publish Collection
After saving, you will be redirected back to your NFT collection profile page. Before you exit Curios, it's important to check to make sure the Publish this Collection button is toggled to ON. If this is OFF, your listing will not be visible.
